Christos Kokonos currently serves as the Head of Procurement at GRNET since October 2018, bringing extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management across various prominent companies. Previously, Christos worked as a Procurement Consultant at TBSP Engineering S.A. and held several roles at COSMOTE Mobile Telecommunications S.A., including IT & Service Platforms Procurement Director, where responsibilities included creating procurement strategies and managing supplier relationships. Prior experience at Vodafone Greece involved overseeing a supply chain department, managing contracts, and ensuring optimal cost and quality in procurement. Early career roles included project and design engineering, emphasizing procurement and quality assurance in significant construction projects. Christos holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
