Michael Loukeris

Michael Loukeris is an experienced DevOps Engineer at GRNET since October 2019, focusing on infrastructure monitoring, provisioning, containerization, and CI/CD automation. Michael also served as a software engineer contributing to several key digital government projects for the Greek government. In addition to this role, Michael founded and leads Scander App as CEO and CTO. A military stint included work as a Red Team Pentester in the Greek Army's Cyber Security Division, with tasks involving penetration testing, Docker hardening, and incident monitoring. Prior experience also encompasses a role as Software Engineering Research Associate at the Business Analytics Laboratory and positions in junior software engineering at Reckit Application and various leadership roles within JA Alumni Greece. Michael holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security and a Bachelor's degree in Management Science and Technology, along with an Erasmus experience at the University of Southern Denmark.
