George Church is a co-founder and the head of the scientific advisory board at GRO Biosciences. George is also a previous co-founder of Colossal Biosciences, digiD8, eGenesis, Inc., Editas Medicine, Genome Compiler Corp. (TwistBio), Genia Corp., Gen9, Inc., and Intelligent Bio-Systems. George received their undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Chemistry and Physics. George then went on to receive their Ph.D. in Genetics from Harvard Medical School. George's research has been instrumental in developing new technologies for DNA sequencing, synthetic biology, and genome engineering.
George Church attended Phillips Andover for high school where they studied science. George then went on to attend Harvard University for their PhD in biochemistry. George has a certification from CITI Program in Mandatory PHS Required Training on Research Conflicts of Interest at Harvard Medical School.
