Tamar Howson

Tamar Howson is a Commercialization Advisor at GRO Biosciences. Tamar has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, including senior leadership positions in corporate and business development.

Tamar Howson began their career in the industry as a Vice President at Johnston Associates in 1990. Tamar then joined SmithKline Beecham in 1991 as Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development. Tamar held this position until 2000, when they left to start their own consultancy, Howson Associates.

In 2001, Tamar Howson joined Bristol-Myers Squibb Company as Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development. Tamar held this position until 2007, when they left to join Lexicon Pharmaceuticals as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Tamar remained at Lexicon until 2008, when they joined JSB-Partners as a Senior Advisor. Tamar held this position until 2011, when they left to join GRO Biosciences as a Commercialization Advisor.

Tamar Howson has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, an MSc in Chemical Engineering from The Graduate Center at City University of New York, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
