Kjeld Klaver is the owner of Ondersteun V.O.F. since February 2018, where the focus is on developing products for the elderly to maintain their independence, utilizing expertise as a physical therapist to create and test prototypes with end-users. Kjeld is also the inventor of AmpUgo, a device that enables walking with a walker for individuals with lower limb amputations. In addition, Kjeld serves as an innovation accelerator at Groenhuysen since 2004, bridging the gap between healthcare and innovations. With a background in clinical and outpatient rehabilitation for geriatric patients, Kjeld has been integrating games and virtual reality into therapy since 2007. Previous experience includes roles as a physical therapist at Stichting Crabbehoff and Albert Schweitzer Hospital. Kjeld Klaver holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Avans University of Applied Sciences and also completed education at the Health Innovation School Zuid West Nederland in 2019.
