Richard Middel

Richard Middel is an experienced professional in the energy and strategic business development sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Business Development at Groningen Seaports since October 2021, Richard previously held the role of Manager of Development Solar & Wind for North of the Netherlands at Eneco from January to September 2021. Prior experience includes a lengthy tenure at ESD-SIC BV, where Richard served as Directeur and Manager of Sales & Marketing from March 2009 to January 2021. Richard also contributed to energy management roles at Kollo Energie bv and Kollo Silicon Carbide BV between 2005 and 2009. Richard earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Groningen and completed studies at Hanze and Zernike College.
