Alessandro Calcagno

Alessandro Calcagno has a diverse work experience. Alessandro co-founded Groots in 2019, where they held roles in marketing and digital as well as operations. Alessandro also worked at Netmentora as an awarded project and entrepreneur advisor starting in April 2019. Prior to that, they were an investor at Dribo, a startup that disrupts the process of obtaining a driving license. Alessandro also worked at MANGO as a product manager for LATAM, where they managed product availability and selection, conducted analysis and reporting, and proposed product assortment selections. Alessandro was a brand specialist at Amazon, focusing on increasing profitability, growth, and selection for top Spanish vendors. Earlier in their career, Alessandro worked as a corporate strategy intern at SEAT, S.A., where they conducted brand and market analysis to enhance marketing strategy and effectiveness in the Dutch and Italian markets.

Alessandro Calcagno began their education in 2009 when they obtained the FCE First Certificate Exam in English from Cambridge International Examinations. In 2011, they obtained the Delf B1 - Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française from the Official French Exams Certificate. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Esade and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General. During their time at Esade, in 2015, Alessandro also participated in the ESADE Exchange Program at the University of Otago, studying Business Management. In 2016, they furthered their education by completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics & Strategy for Business at Imperial College London. Additionally, Alessandro acquired the Foundations of Online Marketing certification from Actívate con Google in September 2016 and achieved a TOEFL score of 107/120 in March 2018 from ETS Global B.V.
