Juan Carlos Quintero

Juan Carlos Quintero is a seasoned music professional currently serving as the Head of the Music Business & Communications Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. With a career spanning over three decades, Quintero has held prominent roles including Music Producer and Composer at BMG - The New Music Company and Warner/Chappell Production Music, where Quintero launched the joint venture "Café Moondo." Additionally, Quintero acts as Executive in Charge of Music for Nickelodeon’s animated series "Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty" and has contributed as Music Supervisor for various major brands, including Saban Brands. Quintero's earlier experience includes owning Moondo Records Inc. and teaching as an Adjunct Professor at College of the Canyons. Quintero's educational background includes a Bachelor of Music in Composition/Arranging from Berklee College of Music and further studies at New England Conservatory of Music.
