Britt Cocanour

Britt Cocanour has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Britt began their career in 1995 as a Convention Coordinator for the National Women's Political Caucus. Britt then worked as a Finance Director for Dale McCormick for Congress and later as a Deputy Campaign Manager/Finance Director for Lydia Spottswood for Congress in 1996. In 1997, they served as a Political Finance Coordinator at the Service Employees International Union. Britt joined EMILY's List in 1999 as a Training Director and later held roles as Deputy Political Director from 2003 to 2004 and Chief of Staff from 2005 to 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they were the Executive Director of Alley Cat Allies. Britt then worked at Greenpeace as the Director of Public Outreach/Co-Program Director from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are the Managing Director of Search and Recruitment at Grossman Solutions, a role they have held since 2018.

From 1990 to 1994, Britt Cocanour attended Bowling Green State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
