Meredith Birdsong

Meredith Birdsong has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Meredith started their career as a Summer Intensive Program Scholar at Girls Who Invest in 2021, where they underwent a rigorous training program focused on finance and investment concepts. Upon completion, they earned a paid internship on an investment team. In the same year, they also worked as a Private Equity Summer Analyst at Hamilton Lane, gaining valuable experience in the field. In 2022, Meredith interned at GCM Grosvenor as an Absolute Return Strategies Intern. Following their internship, they joined the University of Chicago as a Research Assistant at the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics. Meredith'sexcellent performance led to their promotion as the Head Research Assistant in November 2022, where they continued to contribute to the department until June 2023. Meredith's most recent role is as an Absolute Return Strategies Analyst at GCM Grosvenor, a position they have held since July 2023.

Meredith Birdsong pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Chicago, from 2019 to 2023.
