Stefanie Friedman Platnick

Stefanie Friedman Platnick currently serves as Executive Director and Principal, Legal in the Customized Fund Investment Group at GCM Grosvenor since January 2014. Prior to this role, Stefanie held the position of Vice President in the same group at Credit Suisse from May 2010 to January 2014. Stefanie's career includes serving as Associate Counsel at Monarch Alternative Capital LP, focusing on distressed debt investing, and as an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, providing counsel to investment advisers on managing hedge funds and other investment vehicles. Stefanie began professional experience as an Associate at Mendes & Mount, representing insurance companies in complex securities litigation. Education includes a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a BA in English and Legal Studies from Brandeis University, graduating cum laude.
