Yuan Yuan

Yuan Yuan, CFA has a strong background in insurance strategy and analytics. They are currently working as the Head of Insurance Strategy and Analytics at GCM Grosvenor since April 2022. Prior to that, they held a position as Vice President, Insurance Strategy at Goldman Sachs from April 2015 to April 2022. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Yuan Yuan worked at J.P. Morgan as a Vice President from November 2013 to March 2015. They also have experience in reinsurance strategy, having served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group from April 2010 to October 2013.

Yuan Yuan, CFA, obtained a Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2010. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, Yuan Yuan pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Computer Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In the earlier years, from 2003 to 2006, Yuan Yuan completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, also from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

In addition to the various degrees, Yuan Yuan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute. Yuan Yuan has also attained the WSET® Level 3 Advanced Award in Wines & Spirits, awarded by the WSET — Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
