Matt Smith

Matt Smith has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Matt currently holds the position of Head of Finance & Senior Business Partner at Grosvenor, a role they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they served as Financial Reporting & Control Director (Interim) from April 2022 to July 2022, and as Head of Finance, Development & Investment from July 2020 to March 2022. Matt also held the position of Head of Finance, Off-Estate at Grosvenor from July 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining Grosvenor, Matt worked at Deloitte UK for over a decade, starting as an Audit Trainee in September 2008 and progressing through various roles. Matt served as Audit Senior Manager from September 2015 to July 2019, Audit Manager from September 2012 to August 2015, and Audit Assistant Manager from September 2010 to August 2012.

Matt Smith attended the University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. In September 2011, they obtained the ACA certification from the ICAEW.
