Matthew O'Connell

Matthew O'Connell is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public affairs and external communications. Currently serving as Senior Public Affairs & Communications Manager at Grosvenor since May 2022, Matthew previously held key positions at Homes England, where tenure included roles such as Head of External Communications (interim) and Senior Communications Manager from January 2019 to May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Housing Advisor at The CLA, and Senior Policy Officer at the British Property Federation, where contributions were made to influential lobbying efforts for the property industry. Matthew holds a degree in Politics and French from the University of Nottingham, obtained between 2008 and 2012.
