Laurie Lepine

Laurie LePine has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Laurie is currently the Director of Human Resources at Groton Public Schools, where they are responsible for the strategic direction and management of all HR functions. Before that, they served as the Human Resources Director for Norampac, overseeing HR activities at two divisions. Prior to that, Laurie held executive and managerial roles at Crabtree & Evelyn, Ltd, where they led HR operations for various business units in the United States and Canada. Their responsibilities included managing retail stores, manufacturing, distribution, and administrative offices, as well as developing HR policies and programs. Laurie has a proven track record in leadership, talent management, and employee development.

Laurie LePine, pHCLE, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has an education history that includes management studies at Bryant College from 1991 to 2000. In 2005, Laurie obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. They also received additional certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2015 and a Certified Leadership Facilitator designation from Senn Delaney in 2008. Laurie LePine further pursued Human Services studies at Quinebaug Valley Community College in 2009. They recently obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI in August 2020.
