Chris Hinchcliffe

Chris Hinchcliffe has extensive experience in the field of health and safety. Chris most recently worked as the Head of Health and Safety at Ground Control since February 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Safety Health and Environmental Manager at Wates Group from October 2015 to February 2021. Before joining Wates Group, Chris held the position of Regional Safety, Health & Environmental Manager at SHEPHERD ENGINEERING SERVICES from July 2013 to October 2015. Chris also worked at the same company as a Regional, Safety, Health & Environmental Adviser from April 2007 to February 2012. Starting their career, Chris served in the HM Forces as a Warrant Officer Class 1 (ASM) from 1985 to 2007.

- From 2006 to 2009, they attended Woodward SHE and obtained a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.

- Between 1985 and 2007, they were enrolled in HM Forces, where they earned a Diploma in Leadership & Management, specializing in leadership and management.

- From 1999 to 2001, Chris studied at the School of Electrocal & Mechanical Engineering and received an HNC Engineering degree with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
