Courtney Hurley

Courtney Hurley is a seasoned professional in growth and partnerships, currently serving as Vice President of Growth at Ground News since June 2021, where prior roles included Head of Partnerships & Education and Marketing & Partnerships Manager. Previously, Courtney held the position of Senior Writer & Creative Director at Gail & Rice from November 2013 to June 2021, leading content development efforts for automotive clients and focusing on creative direction, brand messaging, and content strategy. Earlier experience includes roles as a Production Coordinator at Gail & Rice, a Marketing Intern at Pearson Education Canada, a Curatorial Assistant at York Region District School Board, and a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University. Courtney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism & History from Carleton University.
