Mark Baguma Allen

Mark Baguma Allen is a seasoned GIS Developer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Amulinde Consulting since January 2023 and at Groundsure since October 2010. At Groundsure, Mark oversees the historical map department and has contributed to creating web mapping and export services. Previously, Mark served as a GIS Solutions Specialist, providing spatial product development and technical guidance. An earlier role as an Environmental Consultant at Sussex Wildlife Trust involved digitizing ecological data and maintaining spatial data. Mark's career began in event management as a Stage Manager for Allen Events from August 2007 to August 2009. Academically, Mark holds an MSc in environmental management and GIS from the University of Brighton and a BSc in Geological Sciences from Oxford Brookes University.
