Liezl de Ridder, CPHR has extensive work experience in various roles related to people and culture, human resources, and project consulting. In 2007, they began their career at Royal Jet, where they held positions such as Cabin Services and Products Executive, Service and Standards Training Executive, and Inflight Service Manager.

In 2019, Liezl joined Thibodeau Architecture + Design as a Human Resources & Admin Assistant for a brief period before moving on to the British Columbia Institute of Technology as a Peer Tutor. At the same time, they also worked as a consultant for the Aquilini Group, where they focused on a compensation framework project.

Liezl then joined Groundswell Cloud Solutions, a GyanSys Company, in 2020, starting as a People & Culture Generalist before being promoted to People & Culture Business Partner. Liezl is currently employed at GyanSys Inc. as a People and Culture Manager.

Throughout their career, Liezl has demonstrated their expertise in people management, culture development, and HR consulting. Liezl'sdiverse experience has given their a well-rounded skill set in leading and supporting HR initiatives.

Liezl de Ridder, CPHR, has a diverse and strong educational background. Liezl obtained a Human Resource Management Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology's School of Business, completing their studies from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Teaching Training & Assessing Learning from the City & Guilds of London Art School from 2013 to 2014, focusing on Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching. Although specific information about their Bachelor of Commerce - BCom degree from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria is not available, it is an important part of their educational journey.

In addition to their formal education, Liezl de Ridder has also acquired valuable certifications. Liezl is a certified Mental Health First Aid provider, obtained from the Canadian Mental Health Association in February of 2022. Furthermore, they are a member of the CPHR (Chartered Professionals in Human Resources) through CPHR BC & Yukon, which they obtained in November of 2021.
