Garret Schirber

Garret Schirber is the Sales Development Representative at Groundswell. Previously, they served as the Director of US Programs - Partnership & Scaling at CARE from February 2017 to July 2021. In this role, they led the partnerships and expansion strategy across the United States, with a focus on Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Akron, Houston, and Louisville. Garret also served as Acting Director of the Community Savings & Loan Associations - a self-managed, micro-savings and loan program adapted from CARE's global program. Prior to that, they were the Field Program Manager at USAID from January 2009 to December 2011.

Garret Schirber received their Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the Harvard Kennedy School and their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Pomona College.
