Elvis Moleka, Ph.D, CRMP, has a diverse work experience in data science, risk management, economics, and academia. Their most recent position was as the Vice President of Labs and Data Science at Groundswell, Inc., where they led the development of the LIFT Toolkit and Solar for Everywhere Research. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Data Science Research and Analytics at the same company, where they managed data analytics and decision science procedures, identified new data collection opportunities, and developed data visualizations.

Elvis also has experience as the Chief Economist for Economic Policy and Performance Improvement at BACDU INC USA and as the Co-Founder and CEO of Leka Research Institute, where they engaged in risk management solutions, financial modeling, and data analytics. Elvis developed credit risk strategies for banks to minimize credit losses and led risk management and market research efforts.

In addition, Elvis has held roles as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at RiskSpan, where they built complex financial and economic models, and as a Senior Economist at Fannie Mae, where they focused on CECL/Stress Testing and Scenario Design. Elvis has also worked in academia as a Lecturer in Statistics and Head of Teaching Fellows at the University of Warwick and as a Research Economist and Senior Policy Analyst at the University of Bath. Elvis taught courses in statistics, econometrics, and financial modeling and conducted research on monetary policy and macroeconomic performance.

Elvis began their career in academia as an Adjunct Lecturer in Economics at the University of Buea, where they taught undergraduate courses in macroeconomics, econometrics, and research methodology. Elvis also coordinated research projects for students.

Elvis Moleka, Ph.D, CRMP has an extensive education history. Elvis holds a Certification Program - Executive Education in Risk Management from the New York Institute of Finance, obtained in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Bath in 2015. In 2010, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Economics and Finance at London Metropolitan University. Their undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics, was obtained from the University of Buea in 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Elvis Moleka has acquired various certifications. Elvis is a Certified Life and Health Insurance Producer, obtained from the Virginia Bureau of Insurance in October 2021. Elvis also holds the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test - National Component with Uniform State Content certification from NMLS, obtained in February 2021. In August 2020, they completed the NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator Pre-Licensure program through Mortgage Educators & Compliance.

Elvis Moleka's certification in DE&I Expert - Diversity and Inclusion in a Global Enterprise, obtained in June 2020, demonstrates their expertise in diversity and inclusion. Elvis has also completed the Investment Banking - Unlocking Investment and Finance in Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs) program offered by the World Bank Group in October 2019.

Furthermore, Elvis Moleka has obtained certifications in leadership, project management, and higher education teaching.
