Sara Owre

Sara Owre has a diverse work experience in program management, coordination, and support roles.

In 2022, they joined Groundswell, Inc. as a Program Manager, responsible for overseeing program operations and management.

Prior to that, in 2022, Sara worked at AMP Global Youth as a Program and Curriculum Coordinator, where they facilitated and coordinated programs and curriculum development.

From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Program Manager at Envision Experience, where they managed program activities and ensured successful program implementation.

In 2019, Sara joined Population Services International and held multiple roles. As a Program Coordinator, Malaria - PMI VectorLink Project, from 2020 to 2021, they coordinated malaria projects and contributed to the project's success. Sara also worked as a Program Assistant - Malaria & WASH from 2019 to 2020.

In the same year, they interned at Peace Corps in the Office of Overseas Programming and Training Support, supporting data analysis tasks and the development of field data reporting tools.

In 2018, Sara interned at Peace Corps' Office of the Chief Information Officer, specifically in the Customer Capacity Building Team.

Sara'searlier experiences include working as a Corps Member at Jumpstart, where they contributed to early childhood education initiatives, and as a Day Camp Assistant Director at UNC, The Farm - Faculty and Staff Recreation Association.

Sara Owre obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from The George Washington University between 2015 and 2019. In 2017, they also attended Sciences Po for a semester, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs.
