Dan Grotsky has over 20 years of experience in the business world. Dan began their career in 2000 as the Founder & CEO of Sophium. In 2002, they became a Technical Sales Manager and Senior Service Delivery Consultant at Pegasystems. In 2005, they Co-Founded and became the Director of Member Relations for Israel Angels. In 2006, they became the Director of Corporate Business Development at Alvarion, where they were responsible for strategic opportunities and business plan execution. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Partner at Gas2Business and a Director of Business Development at Atlantium. From 2010 to 2013, they were the CEO of both Cressca and Terenova. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been the Co-Founder, Chief Growth Officer, and DYNOMYCO General Manager of Groundwork BioAg, where they produce highly-effective mycorrhizal inoculants for commercial agriculture.
Dan Grotsky's education history includes attending South Mountain Elementary School from 1979 to 1982, Kelman Junior High School from 1983 to 1986, and Rothberg High School from 1986 to 1989. Dan then attended Tel Aviv University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering. Following this, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained an MS in Computer Science and an MBA in Operations, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. Finally, they attended The Heschel Center for Sustainability from 2012 to 2013, where they were an Environmental Fellow in Sustainability Studies.
