Zafar Astanov

Zafar Astanov is an experienced professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Fraud & Financial Crime Solutions Business Unit at Group-IB since April 2017. Zafar has progressed through various roles at Group-IB, including Lead Technical Presales Manager, Technical Presales Manager, and Cyber Security Engineer/Analyst. Prior experience includes a position as a Tester (Trainee) at Kaspersky Lab in 2016 and a role as Project Manager at Accord Digital in 2015. Zafar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, completed between 2014 and 2018.
