Jake Cannizzo

Jake Cannizzo is a trader at Group One Trading, LP, with prior experience as a trading analyst. Cannizzo has a solid academic foundation, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Public Policy as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Indiana University. As an undergraduate instructor in the Mathematics Department, Cannizzo supported Finite Mathematics classes while also participating in research and trading initiatives, such as the Undergraduate Research and Trading Club and the Kelley Portfolio Management Club. Notably, Cannizzo served as a finalist and team captain in the Southeastern Hedge Fund Competition. Additional experience includes an analyst position at XSQ, where models for valuing ICOs and cryptocurrencies were developed, and a summer analyst role at Exemplar Financial Network LLC focused on financial advising and database efficiency improvements.
