Gu X.

Gu X. began their career at Avanade in 2012 as a Consultant, providing IT consulting and services for enterprise clients. They were later promoted through a series of fast-track positions. In 2015, Gu X. became the President at Data Dynamix, where they spearheaded the data warehouse team and led data testing for deliverables and data feeds. In 2016, Gu X. joined PIMCO as a Business Analyst, then later became Vice President - Data Engineering, overseeing strategic projects and driving data analytics accessibility. In 2022, Gu X. joined Group 1001 as the Head of Data Engineering. Throughout their career, Gu X. has demonstrated leadership in data engineering, migration projects, and fostering a data-centric culture.

Gu X. completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business in 2009-2011. In 2019-2020, Gu X. attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the LEAD: Personal Leadership Certificate program. Additionally, Gu X. obtained certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2021 and SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in 2021.
