Zack Volkmann

Zack Volkmann has over 19 years of work experience in various managerial roles. Zack is currently working as Plant Manager at Group14 Technologies since 2021. Prior to that, they were Operations Manager at Safran Ventilation Systems from 2019 to 2021. From 2018 to 2019, they were Operations Manager at Exxelia, where they oversaw 45 direct and indirect reports for an aerospace custom electro-magnetic manufacturer and managed the transfer of work to a low-cost production center. From 2014 to 2018, they were Production Supervisor II at Crane Aerospace & Electronics, where they supervised 80+ direct and indirect reports over 2 production shifts, while working with cross-functional teams to resolve problems for an aerospace manufacturer. From 2002 to 2014, they held various roles at Lancs Industries, including General Manager, Sales Associate & Customer Service, Quality Control Manager, and Purchasing Agent & Inventory. In this role, they oversaw 55+ direct and indirect reports over 2 production shifts, while coordinating with 3 sales offices throughout the US for a nuclear industry safety equipment manufacturer. Zack also managed custom orders/projects from quote to shipment, estimated materials, labor, shipping, testing, and all other aspects for each project, and completed RFQ/RFP and defined all aspects in the scope of work. Additionally, they were responsible for all phases and functions within the quality control program, including in-house tests, first article testing (FAT), source inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection on fabricated products, generating associated documentation, including NCR's (non-conformance reports) if necessary. Zack also designed and improved QC records for purchasing and receipt inspection of raw materials, and oversaw the purchasing and warehousing of all material used.

Zack Volkmann attended Central Washington University from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Operations Management Information Systems.
