Christine Hwong

Christine Hwong is currently serving as Vice President of Finance & Treasurer at Group 1 Automotive since 2024. Prior to this role, Christine held the position of Chief Operating Officer - Direct Lending at EIG Partners in 2023. From 2012 to 2022, Christine was a Principal at Apollo Global Management LLC. Christine's investment banking experience includes roles at Credit Suisse from 2011 to 2012 in the Oil & Gas Group, and at Jefferies from 2010 to 2011 in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, where a generalist approach covered multiple industries including energy and industrials. Christine earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University, along with studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
