Philippe Merleix

Philippe Merleix has extensive experience in the waste management and industrial sectors, currently serving as Regional Director at Groupe Chimirec since July 2001. Responsibilities include managing several classified installations, including an industrial SEVESO site, and overseeing the production of derived fuels from waste. Philippe has a strong background in strategic development, safety policy deployment, and inter-subsidiary activity mutualization. Previous roles encompass management of commercial and operational teams, with a focus on budget management, recruitment, and optimization of activities, successfully achieving triple certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001). Prior experience includes a commercial role at Erlab, specializing in laboratory equipment and filtration systems. Philippe holds a BSc in Applied Chemistry from Edinburgh Napier University, alongside degrees in chemistry from the University of Hertfordshire and the Université de Poitiers.
