Charles Abiad

Charles Abiad is the current Vice President and General Manager of Descair at Deschenes Group. Charles has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and management field, with a focus on Automated parking gates and systems, Building access control, Cameras & video surveillance. Prior to their current role, they served as the Regional Director for Globatech, where they were responsible for leading & managing the Logic Controls division in Western Quebec, Montreal and Ontario. Charles has also held positions as a Consultant and Vice President, General Manager / Directeur Général for Johnson Controls and Energy Engineer-HVAC Manager / Directeur CVAC - Énergie for Forest City Enterprises.

Charles Abiad completed their undergraduate degree at Cleveland State University, where they studied electrical and electronics engineering. Charles then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration at Baldwin Wallace University.
