Luis Philippe Fernandes

Luis Philippe Fernandes is an experienced professional in electrical engineering and energy systems, currently serving as a Spécialiste Metering at Groupe E since February 2019. In this role, Luis oversees the specification and validation of smart electric meters and IoT telecommunications technologies, managing the deployment of 270,000 smart meters across several cantons. Additionally, since March 2023, Luis has been responsible for the E18 metrological laboratory, ensuring periodic verification of energy meters. Prior to this, Luis held the position of Chief Technical Officer at Aurora's Grid, where responsibilities included the industrialization and integration of eco-friendly battery management software. With a robust background at Groupe PSA, Luis defined energy storage systems for hybrid and electric vehicles and led various innovative projects. Luis holds multiple degrees in electrical engineering and has undertaken continuous professional development, including training in Siemens S7 programmable automation and project management.
