Jonathan Simard

Jonathan Simard, ing, currently serves as Directeur ST3i at Groupe Mecanitec since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jonathan held various positions at Alcoa from September 2018 to July 2023, including Regional Capital Engineering Lead for North America and Europe, Chef de section, and Ingénieur de projets. Additional experience includes serving as Directeur de projet at Hatch from October 2016 to September 2018, Directeur de projet at WSP in Canada from August 2015 to October 2016, and Ingénieur de projet at Groupe Somavrac from September 2014 to August 2015. Jonathan's early career includes significant roles at Alcoa, Abitibi Consolidated, PCI Chimie Canada, and Norsk Hydro Canada, focusing on reliability engineering and maintenance optimization. Jonathan holds a Baccalauréat en génie mécanique from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, as well as a DEC in Sciences pures from Cégep de Trois-Rivières and a secondary diploma from Séminaire St-Joseph de Trois-Rivières.
