Axel Paugam

Axel Paugam is an experienced investment professional specializing in impact finance and social entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Directeur des investissements à impact at GROUPE SOS since March 2021, Axel oversees investment strategies focused on positive social outcomes. As Délégué Général at Impact Business Angels from December 2021 to September 2023, Axel contributed to France's first network exclusively supporting impact-driven entrepreneurship. Prior roles include Impact Finance Manager at PULSE SOS Group, managing equity investments, and Investment Manager for private equity at Crédit Coopératif, where Axel managed over €150 million in sustainable development investments. Axel's background also includes project management in real estate for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and strategic innovation at SNCF Réseau, along with research experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Axel holds a Master's degree in engineering from Mines Paris - PSL.
