José María Soto Ortega

José María Soto Ortega has extensive experience in the energy and engineering industry. José María currently serves as a Project Director at Empresarios Agrupados Internacioal S.A. José María'sprevious role was as a Technical Advisor on solutions for mobility at a consulting and engineering mobility solutions company.

Prior to that, José held various positions at Naturgy, including Head of Operation Department for CNG, LNG, H2, and electrical refueling stations. José María was also a Project Manager for LNG terminals and a Contract Manager for a joint venture LNG liquefaction terminal.

In the earlier years of their career, José worked at Union Fenosa Ingenieria as an Owner's Representative Principal Engineer and at Foster Wheeler Europe as a Project Engineer.

José María Soto Ortega began their career as a Technical Specialist at Compagnie Generale Des Eaux.

José María Soto Ortega completed their education with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1987 to 1993. José María also obtained a degree in Industrial Management/Engineering from CentraleSupélec from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn in various fields such as Excel, Finance, Power BI, Construction Management, Project Management, and Python in the year 2022.
