Nicholas Hsu has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Nicholas began their career as an Actuarial Technician at Industrielle Alliance in 2006 and worked there until 2009. Nicholas then joined Great-West Life as an Actuary from 2009 to 2012. Following that, Hsu worked at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia as an Actuary from 2013 to 2019. Currently, they are the Director of Business Intelligence at GroupHEALTH Benefit Solutions, a position they have held since June 2019.

In 2012, they attained the titles of Fellow, Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and Fellow, Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries.
