Yannis Koumantaros

Yannis Koumantaros has over 18 years of experience in the retirement plan industry. Yannis began their career in 2002 as Managing Director, CFO of Spectrum Pension Consultants, Inc., where they had primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. Yannis also served as Managing Director of Client Engagements, Consulting Shareholder, Marketing Director, Chief Pension Consultant, CFO, and Pension Consultant. In 2011, they co-founded GROUPIRA and served as President. In 2012, they became Director of ASPPA Leadership Council at the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, where they were responsible for the membership of the diversified, technical, and highly regulated benefits industry.

Yannis Koumantaros obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Marketing from the University of Washington in 2000. Yannis then attended the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business from 2000 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and Marketing. In 2008, they obtained a Qualified 401(k) Administrator certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. In 2009, they obtained a Qualified Pension Administrator certification from the same institution. In 2010, they obtained a Certified Pension Consultant certification from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. In 2012, they obtained an Accredited Investment Fiduciary certification from Fi360.
