Scott Waksman

Scott Waksman is an experienced finance and operations executive, currently serving as Vice President of Finance & Operations at Groupize since September 2024. Previously, Waksman held the position of Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Sampled from March 2021 to July 2024. Waksman's extensive tenure at Thomson Reuters from 2005 to 2018 included leadership roles such as Head of Finance for various divisions, where significant achievements included driving financial performance for businesses exceeding $1 billion in revenue and spearheading integration efforts post-acquisition. Waksman’s career began with roles at MetLife and within startup environments, leading to substantial contributions in financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational efficiencies. Waksman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
