Mani Subramanian

Mani Subramanian is a seasoned professional in database management with extensive experience in leading teams and managing complex database environments. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Database Services at Groupon since April 2014, Mani oversees over 10 team members and contractors, managing thousands of databases across multiple data centers. Previous roles include Senior Database Architect at Mode Media Corporation and Senior DBA at Ning, with responsibilities ranging from database management and 24/7 support to significant migrations and implementations. Mani's career began in 1998, accumulating roles of increasing responsibility at several companies, including Citi Residential Lending, ACC Capital Holdings, and HP, establishing a strong foundation in both Oracle and MySQL database technologies. Mani holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University.
