Mauricio Galdos Garreta

Mauricio Galdos Garreta has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2020, they were a Data Engineer at GroupSense, where they were the data team lead engineer and was involved in prioritizing and delegating tasks to improve and develop the breach processing pipeline. Mauricio was also involved in cross-team conversations and was responsible for parsing and cleaning up breach data. In 2017, they were the Co-founder and CPO of Andenes Brewing Company, where they developed beer recipes, optimized the brewing process, and developed the website and company store. In the same year, they were also a Software Developer Internship at Victorise, where they scraped web data and developed a MongoDB database. From 2010 to 2017, they were a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Kansas, where they wrote and implemented Unix and R scripts for data processing and analysis, performed statistical tests, and developed testing material for students.

Mauricio Galdos Garreta earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, General from Truman State University from 2006 to 2010. Mauricio then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Kansas from 2010 to 2014. Mauricio concluded their education with a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from National University from 2015 to 2017.
