Steve Durkin

Steve Durkin has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on general management. Steve has held positions at several renowned establishments, including Grove Bay Hospitality Group, matchbox, Joseph's Classic Market, Chuy's Restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory, East Side Mario's, Chili's, and Olive Garden. Steve's most recent role was as a Director of Operations at Grove Bay Hospitality Group, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a General Manager at matchbox from July 2021 to October 2022. Steve has also held various management positions at Joseph's Classic Market, Chuy's Restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory, East Side Mario's, Chili's, and Olive Garden throughout their career.

Steve Durkin started their education in 1983 at the University of Houston, where they studied Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management. After two years, they transferred to Florida International University and graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management.
