Mick Valiyee Sdet

Mick Valiyee has extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mick started their career in 1997 as a District Manager-SF at ephones and then moved on to work as a Sales Manager at Verizon Wireless. In 2001, Mick joined Prudential California Realty as a Broker Associate/Technology Officer. In 2005, they transitioned to Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty as a Broker Associate. Mick then joined Expedia, Inc. Hotwire in 2011 as a Software Development Engineer In Test, where they worked until 2018.

Most recently, Mick has been working at Grove Collaborative, starting in 2020 as a QA Engineer and later being promoted to a Senior Automation Engineer. In their role at Grove Collaborative, they implemented automated regression test suites for the Growth, Retention, Tools & Payment teams using Cypress.io.

Mick Valiyee SDET has a diverse education history. In 1993, they began studying at Diablo Valley College and earned an Associate degree in Real Estate in 1997. After that, in 2005, they pursued further education and obtained a Broker degree from the Department of Real Estate of California.

In 2019, Mick attended General Assembly, where they completed a program in Software Engineering. Mick also obtained a certification as a Software Engineer from General Assembly in September 2019.

Additionally, Mick has obtained several certifications. In September 2022, they acquired certifications in "Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" and "Version Control" from Meta. In July 2022, they completed a certification program titled "Introduction to Front-End Development" from Meta.
