Brian Vartian

Chief Of Anesthesia at Groves Hospital & Foundation

Brian Vartian has worked as the Chief of Anesthesia at Groves Memorial Community Hospital since 2014. In 2017, they became a Co-Founder of Waterloo MedTech. Additionally, they are currently an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University Department of Medicine since December 2018.

Brian Vartian has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Queen's University. Brian also has a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Calgary, and they completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program at the same university. Furthermore, Brian has completed a Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Toronto and an Anesthesiology Residency Program (GP-Anes) at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Brian has also pursued a MASc (Partial) degree in Computational Neuroscience/Deep Learning at the University of Waterloo.
