Elin Gosby currently serves as Vice President - Legal Transactions at BlackRock and as a Secondee in EMEA Credit Transactions since November 2023. Additionally, Elin is a Guest Tutor at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Mentor at GROW MENTORING, both roles starting in early 2023. Elin's legal experience includes a position as Senior Associate in Restructuring at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, and previous roles as Senior Adviser at Blue Crescent Capital and Legal Counsel at FitzWalter Capital. Early career experiences include positions at Milbank LLP and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, focusing on financial restructuring and special situations. Academic qualifications include an MA in Russian and French from the University of Cambridge and legal education from BPP Law School, complemented by international study at Kazan State University and Petrozavodsk State University.

GROW is a registered charity supporting diverse lawyers, addressing intersectionality within the legal profession and working with aspiring lawyers through one-to-one mentoring. Mentees are assigned a mentor from the legal profession who is able to offer tailored advice through frequent email contact, monthly scheduled video/phone calls and hopefully, very soon, in person catch ups, coffees and mentoring events. Since launching GROW at the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, we have successfully paired over 2000 mentees to their own mentor. Our mentors represent over 220 law firms, 85 in-house legal teams and 20 barristers chambers.
