Engineering Manager at Grow Therapy

Teju Manchenella has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. In that time, they have held various roles at multiple companies. In 2011, they were a Research Intern at the Biomedical Microdevices and Nanotechnology Laboratory, where they developed nano-bioelectric devices. In 2016, they were an Instructor at iD Tech Camps, teaching courses such as Introduction to Game Design with Python, Introduction to Programming with JavaScript, Python Programming, and Java Programming. In 2017, they were a Computer Science Intern at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where they explored strategies to redesign infrastructure for providing custom web services to a containerized microservice environment. In 2018, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft, where they developed ClearlyDefined, a tool that harvests and curates key metadata about various repository and package manager projects. Teju was also a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where they built a robust pipeline with AWS Lambda and Step Functions to gather metrics from CloudWatch for all running EC2 instances. Since 2019, they have been a Software Engineer at Opendoor, and in 2022, they will become a Software Engineer at Grow Therapy.

Teju Manchenella attended Plano East Senior High School from 2013 to 2015 and then graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Rice University in 2019.
