Tomasz Kajdanowicz

Tomasz Kajdanowicz has a wide range of professional experience. Tomasz began their career in 2007 as a Software Specialist at Nokia Siemens Networks. Later that year, they became a Solution Consultant at Hewlett Packard, where they co-designed and implemented a flexible HP Corporate Banking solution, as well as a HP Fraud Detection solution and an ISO8583/BASE24 gateway. In 2008, they became a Researcher at KRUK S.A. and an Associate Professor, Head of Department of Artificial Intelligence, Head of Department of Computational Intelligence, Assistant Professor, and Research Assistant at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. In 2016, they co-founded 8thlab sp. z o.o. and in 2018 they were a Visiting Professor at University of Technology Sydney. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Head of Research and Development at Growbots, and in 2019 they were appointed Chief Executive Officer at handling.ai.

Tomasz Kajdanowicz obtained their MSc in Information Technology from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in 2007. Tomasz then pursued a MSc in Project Management from the same university, which they completed in 2011. In 2012, they obtained their PhD in Computer Science from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. In 2013, they attended Stanford University for a Stanford Center for Professional Development course. In 2020, they received their DSc from the Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences. Additionally, they obtained a MSc in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2006.
