Davide Bertacco

Davide Bertacco has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and data science. Davide currently holds the position of Data Engineer at Growens since January 2023. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Banco BPM from September 2021 to December 2022, where they gained valuable experience in data analysis and modeling. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Iason from March 2021 to August 2021. Davide also has experience in research and development, as they served as a Research Science Intern at Amazon's Turin Alexa development center from June 2020 to November 2020. During this internship, they focused on developing and maintaining tools for the Alexa NLU workflow and conducting analysis and hyper-parameter tuning of DNN models. Before joining Amazon, Davide worked as a Tutor at Università degli Studi di Torino from January 2017 to July 2018, and as an Intern at BANCA C.R.ASTI S.P.A. in May 2015. Through these experiences, Davide has honed their technical skills, gained proficiency in coding best practices, version control (Git), Python programming, and cloud computing.

Davide Bertacco completed their education in various institutions. Davide obtained a M.Sc degree in Stochastics and Data Science (LM-40) from the Università degli Studi di Torino in 2020. Prior to that, they pursued another M.Sc degree in Quantitative Finance and Insurance from the same university, which they completed in 2017. Davide also earned a Laurea triennale degree in Economia aziendale/manageriale from the Università degli Studi di Torino from 2013 to 2016. Their education journey began at the Liceo Scientifico Statale "A. Avogadro" where they received their Diploma di Maturità from 2008 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Davide Bertacco has obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in January 2021, and Patente Europea Del Computer from AICA - Associazione Italiana per l'Informatica e il Calcolo Automatico.
