Johnny Bridge is an experienced culinary professional with extensive leadership roles in various organizations. Currently serving as an OceanWise Ambassador and President of the Chefs' Table Society of British Columbia, Johnny Bridge is dedicated to fostering collaboration among culinary professionals. As Vice President and Events Chair at the Mind the Bar Foundation, Johnny Bridge focuses on supporting individuals in the hospitality industry facing mental health challenges. With a background that includes positions as Operations Manager at Thormanby South Catering, Sous Chef at The University of British Columbia, and Chef de Cuisine at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort, Johnny Bridge has a rich history of culinary expertise. Educational achievements include certifications from several institutions, culminating in a Level 3 Red Seal in Culinary Arts from ITA Canada.

Too many kids don’t know where food comes from or have access to healthy, whole food. We’re on a mission to change that. By giving kids space to learn food literacy skills, providing them with delicious and nutritious meals, and engaging them in the food system in a healthy way, we are aiming to: - Empower kids and youth and help them unlock their full potential - Nourish and flourish their health and wellness - Create community connectedness and reduce social isolation - Provide access to food that is good for the body, spirit, and planet Growing Chefs is a registered charity that sends teams of chef and community volunteers into elementary schools—where they grow vegetables, cook with kids, and get the kids excited about eating healthy food.
