Anabel Schmelz

Anabel Schmelz serves as the Elementary School Principal at Growing Up Green Charter Schools since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Success Academy Charter Schools from July 2015 to June 2022, where Anabel held positions as Assistant Principal, Labsite Teacher, Grade Team Lead, Special Education Teacher, and Science Teacher. Anabel began a career in education with CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange as a Science & ESL Teacher from October 2014 to May 2015. Anabel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Bates College (2010-2014) and a Master of Science in General and Special Education for Grades 1-6 from Touro University (2015-2016), along with studies at the School for International Training in 2013.
