Rory James

Rory James currently serves as the Finance Manager at Growing Up Green Charter Schools, having assumed the role in October 2023. Prior to this, Rory held various finance-related positions at The Yale Club of New York City, including Finance Manager, Finance Supervisor, Staff Accountant, and Payroll Manager from September 2012 to September 2024. Responsibilities included auditing payroll balance sheets and facilitating cross-departmental communication. Additional experience includes serving as a Staff Accountant at Eventi, A Kimpton Hotel, where management of full cycle accounts receivable functions was key, and as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at InterContinental Hotels Group/Crown Plaza Times Square, responsible for monitoring billing accuracy. Rory's earlier roles also featured coordinating accounts receivable and payroll functions at Hotel Pennsylvania, particularly focusing on collections for international travelers.
