Sergio Morales Esquivel

Sergio Morales Esquivel has a diverse work experience in various fields, including data science, software engineering, teaching, and community coordination. Sergio has worked at Growth Acceleration Partners as a Principal Engineer for Analytics Strategy, where they solved complex problems and provided technical leadership to the company and its clients. Prior to that, they served as a Data Engineering Specialist at the same company, leading data science and analytics projects. Sergio also has experience as a Mobile/Backend Software Engineer at Growth Acceleration Partners. Additionally, they worked as a Professor at Universidad Cenfotec, lecturing on computer science topics. Sergio has been actively involved in the Costa Rican Free Software Community, where they served as a Collaborator and helped coordinate various events. Sergio also gained valuable experience as a Mobile Software Engineer at Cecropia Solutions, an Embedded Systems and Mobile Software Engineer at RidgeRun, and an Intern at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Sergio's work experience also includes roles as a Professor/Lecturer at the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica, a Community Coordinator at ITCR Free Software Community CSL-TEC, a Developer for the TSE e-Vote Project at the Centro de Investigación de Cómputo, ITCR, and a Testing and Verification Developer for the UCR Tests Project at the same institution.

Sergio Morales Esquivel earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica in 2011. Sergio later obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 2014.
